Feast on the Hilltop
Sample Green County, Wisconsin's most delicious products and meet the top producers at BOUNTY OF GREEN COUNTY - FEAST ON THE HILLTOP on September 12.
Discover some of the nation's finest foods. Meet growers, cheesemakers, brewers, sausage makers, farmers, yogurt makers, candy makers, and bakers, at an outdoor market "vendor showcase" at the New Glarus Brewing Company's new Hilltop Site - home of the popular farmhouse-style ale "Spotted Cow".
"Meet Your Maker"
Saturday, September 12, 10 am - 4 pm
Producers at this outdoor market vendor showcase will serve samples, share recipes and suggest ideas for using their products in recipes, menus, and for entertaining. Some may cook or prepare foods right at their booths.
Visitors can buy food to enjoy on site (or buy packaged items to prepare and enjoy at home), sample brews in the Tasting Room, and enjoy live local music on the Courtyard.
A series of presentations will include Cheese and Beer Pairings with Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Spaetzle and Ravioli Cooking Demonstrations with Chef Stef Culberson, Cheese Fondue Demonstration and Sampling with Chef Roland Everest, and "Savoring the Good Life - One Family's Love for Summer Squash, Solar Energy, and Serendipity" with Lisa Kivirist of Inn Serendipity.
The brewery will be open for self-guided tours, and a select group of area artists have been chosen to set up throughout the brewery to demonstrate and display their work.
Admission $5 for adults; children 16 and under admitted free.
